I’m having location issues, what should I do?

Troubleshooting Location Issues on Goldslips 📍

Sometimes Goldslips can’t tell where you’re playing from. Things like VPNs, weak Wi-Fi, or outdated browser data can cause location issues, but don’t worry — the steps below can help fix it!



1. Are you in an available state?

First things first you will want to check that you are in an available state you can check this here.



2. Do you have a VPN active?

Disable VPNs: Ensure you are not connected to a VPN 🛜

Look for a VPN icon in your phone’s status bar or your computer’s system tray/menu bar.

Check your network settings to see if any VPN is active.

Optional: Visit https://whatismyipaddress.com — if your location looks different from where you really are, a VPN might be on.


3. Connection


Check your connection: Use a strong Wi-Fi connection or ensure you have good mobile data service 🤳



4. Allow your location access

Make sure Goldslips has permission to access your location 📍
Go to Goldslips.com.

  1. Go to Goldslips.com.

  2. Click the lock icon next to the URL in your browser’s address bar.

  3. Make sure Location is set to Allow.


4. Clear your cache

Sometimes old data in your browser can cause issues, including with location services. Clearing your cache can help fix this.

Steps:

  1. Open your browser’s settings or options menu.

  2. Find the privacy or history section.

  3. Select Clear browsing data or Clear cache.

  4. Confirm and clear the cached files.

After clearing your cache, refresh the page or restart your browser and try logging in again.



5. IP address

Sometimes your IP address can show a different location, which may cause access issues on Goldslips.

How to Check:

  1. Compare the location shown with your actual location.

  2. If it shows a different location, contact your internet service provider for assistance ☺️
