What is KYC verification?

Updated over 4 months ago

Great question!

KYC stands for Know Your Customer, and is a form of verification that allows us to ensure all of the Goldslips community are who they say they are.😁 Our KYC verification process involves uploading photos of your ID and proof of address, as well as a liveness check.🀳

Including KYC verification not only means that your account remains safe and secure but also allows us to be even more generous with our promotion and giveaways!

There are two stages of KYC on the Goldslips website, the first when you want to make a purchase or claim a freeplay code, and the second when you want to redeem your won Gold Slips.☺️

What Documents Do I Need to Verify My Account?

There are two stages of verification after you have successfully created your account, Purchase verification and Redemption verification. You will need to have some different documents available in order to successfully complete both of these! πŸŽ‰

When you want to make a purchase, we will ask for a photo of the front and back of a form of ID. This could be:

  • Your Driver's License

  • Your ID Card

  • Your residence permit

  • Your passport

Then, to redeem your winnings, you will need to complete a liveness check and to submit proof of your address. This could be:

  • Your bank statement

  • Your utility bills (not older than 12 months)

  • Your Internet/cable TV/house phone line bills

  • Your tax returns

  • Your council tax bills

  • Your government-issued certificates of residence

We've partnered with a company called Sumsub who helps us with this verification process πŸ’ͺ

These are common ways in the industry to protect player information, allow you to play and have fun safely and seamlessly, as well as help reduce fraud, underage access, identity theft and money laundering! πŸ”₯
